- This dataset represents features digitized to polylines from two United States Coast Survey map sheets recorded in 1855 and taken in southern Alameda. Digital data describing the historical tidal marshlands were developed to provide information for the restoration of estuarine habitats, the protection of infrastructure and shoreline development, the assessment of potential legacy contaminants, and local education and research.
